Nagpur: Academic institutions from Nagpur have achieved significant international recognition, with a collaborative research paper involving SFS College and Central India College of Law being selected for presentation at a major global academic conference in the United States. Dr. S.M. Rajan, President & CEO, Indian World Law (IWL) and Prof. Lionel de Souza, Global VP & CEO, UniversityGoGlobal (UGG) said in a press release here.Dr. Rajan said The paper has been accepted for presentation at the Third International Conference on Recent Advancements in Business, Information Systems, and Finance (ICRABIF-2026), scheduled for March 19–20, 2026, at Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina, USA. The conference will host scholars and experts from across the world focusing on contemporary challenges in law, technology, governance, and finance.

The research is the result of an international collaboration involving Prof. Lionel de Souza (UniversityGoGlobal, USA), Dr. White (Allen University, USA), Dr. S.M. Rajan (Central India College of Law, Nagpur), Dr. Dileep Sadhankar (SFS College, Nagpur), and Law Prof. Dr. Azad Shakur Salih (Salahaddin University, Erbil, Iraq).The paper was selected for its interdisciplinary approach, analytical depth, and contemporary policy relevance.
Focus on Digital Governance
Titled “Neutrality, Governance, and Accountability in Digital Platforms: A Socio-Technical and Legal Framework for Online Harm Prevention,” the research examines emerging legal and regulatory challenges related to online hate, cyber-bullying, platform accountability, and ethical digital governance, offering policy-oriented recommendations.
Policy Impact
Notably, the study has contributed to the formulation of a proposed legislative framework titled “The Prevention of Digital Hate, Cyber-Bullying, and Group Harassment Act, 2026,” envisioned as either an amendment to the Information Technology Act or a standalone Bill to be advanced through State channels to Parliament.
